What is NLP?
NLP is
not only a collection of techniques to help people change and improve
themselves, the way they do things and the way they communicate, it is also a
philosophy and a way of looking at life.
NLP came to Europe from the United
States. There Richard Bandler and John Grinder studied the processes of
communication and change. Their premise was that these
processes were based on language, neuropsychology and cybernetics. This is
why they called this new discipline Neuro-Linguistic Programming -
NLP.
They have communicated their
newly-gained insights and techniques in books and workshops and have had some
amazing results. NLP is
one of the fastest-growing and practical personal development methods in the
world. NLP has proved itself in practice in education, business, coaching
and therapy.
NLP is about personal growth and
development, communication and the removal of personal obstacles.

“Psychology Today” writes about NLP
“NLP cannot be dismissed as just another hustle. Its theoretical
underpinnings represent an ambitious attempt to codify and synthesize the
insights of linguistics, body language, and the study of communications
systems.”
